Is it difficult to find RV parks that will allow 45' RV's?

No, it's not difficult. I'd say about 15% of private parks in the East can't accommodate a 45 footer. Public campgrounds in wooded areas might be closer to 75% say they can't handle them. But sometimes they fit them in anyway.
