454 Chevy engine backfires
Replaced a 454 engine last fall, drove it about 350 miles and put it in storage for 6-7 mos. when i got it out,it started backfiring under a hard accel. Any suggestions//

His dizzy is fully motorized, so no springs. I'm thinking running lean, especially since its only under hard acceleration. Was the tank left full when parked? Are you still running on old gas?
