454 Chevy engine backfires
Replaced a 454 engine last fall, drove it about 350 miles and put it in storage for 6-7 mos. when i got it out,it started backfiring under a hard accel. Any suggestions//

Had the same problem. The stock exhaust manifolds make it very easy to burn the spark plug wire insulation causing an intermitant spark and backfiring.
