Most likely the only part the rain plays is to give your feet/legs a good conductive path to EARTH, then touching the door frame closes the circuit from hand to feet to EARTH.
So, lets make sure the DOOR FRAME makes a GOOD CONNECTION to the RV Chassis.
1) Use our VOM and measure voltage from your door frame to the RV chassis.
2) Assuming there is no voltage from the door frame to the RV chassis do a resistance reading from the door frame to the RV chassis.
If the Door Frame makes a good conductive path to Chassis then we know it has to do with the whole RV chassis floating and not just the door frame floating.
