Good Point Harvard. I'm confirming that the ground is good, but only when the ground is good……
I was hoping that I would be able to ID the cause of the problem even in the absence of the problem. Like a loose ground wire somewhere, but everything has checked out thus far. There are some ground connections under the chassis that could use some cleaning up, one is through a rusty self tapping screw, I"m going to replace that one with a bolt. I did just replace the large grounding wire going from the LP gas tank to the bottom of the entrance steps (which is attached to the door frame). It had a little corrosion. This is a 2014 model, I'm not saying that corroded wiring isn't the case, but I'd like to thank it's less likely going to be that rather than a loose connection or opening somewhere.
