Nomad,
I wiggled the power connection, along with anything and everything I could get my hands on. I can't get the RV to read "open ground" again to save my life. The one time it happened with me last friday, I got through a few tests, such as turning appliances off and on, flipping the breakers off and on to include the main, and only when I unplugged the extension cord providing shore power and plugged it back in did it go back to normal, and hasn't happened again. But I didn't even disconnect the power cord at the RV, so nothing moved as far as the RV power cord/plug, I unplugged it where my extension cord was plugged into my home, not at the RV plug. Also, the location that it's plugged in at home is a GFI outlet, which never tripped either while there was an "open ground" in my RV. In fact, my polarity tester was plugged into my onboard GFI outlet (as well as each of the others as I moved it around testing all outlets) when it was reading "open ground".
