50 Amp wiring
I just bought a house that has an RV pad. Unfortunately, it is wired for 30 amp service. I need to get an electrician out to convert to 50 amp to support my rig. My question is whether a licensed elec...

A 50 amp service has 220 available if it is needed. All depends on how you use the legs. But you know that.

Not only does 50 amp service have 220 volts, that 220 volts is brought inside your coach to your main circuit breaker panel. Your main breaker is a 50 amp 220 volt breaker that splits the power to separate 120 volt branches.
