Proper terminology would be:
50Amp, 240v, [COLOR=]1phase, 3 wire circuit (ground is required but not part of the terminology).
Also called 3 wire plus ground. It is a 240 volt circuit, with neutral.
Also called 50 Amp, split-phase.
