Thanks all, for your advice. Guess I opened Pandora's box. Bigdogger/OldF**t, appreciate your responses as well. It's likely I'll just show any bonded/licensed/certified electrician this thread and evaluate his understanding and response...and of course check the installation for proper voltage measurements before plugging in.
