Going from a 35' 5th wheel pulled by a 3/4 ton long bed diesel was night and day. Now in a 35' gas MH. The positive for the truck/5ver combination was only one motor and if the truck was in the shop the house was still available. The front seats in the truck were very comfortable on long trips. Those aside the comparison ends. The MH is easier (to me) to drive even with the toad. Setup is very easy. If the weather is nasty all you do in a MH is fire up the generator and wait it out. The ride is better in the MH but the 5ver seemed more stable in cross winds.
