A second thought. If it is pouring rain and you want to make some coffee, you will NOT get wet walking to the kitchen to start the coffee pot. My 2003 Phaeton has numerous items on the counters and walls, they stay where they are put going down the road.
That sort of convenience would be nice. Now, when we stop for lunch, we can only get to the bathroom, the refrigerator and the end of the kitchen island without opening slides.
