6.8 V10 E450 mpg on Ford
Hi guys, my friend wants to buy a 24 ft Motorhome. What would be mpg on 6.8 V10 E450. Thanks.

Mitch did well. Can't prove it but I believe the 1997-99 V10's with 275-HP got a pinch better mileage than the ones with "performance improved" heads and 305-HP from 2000 forward. The 24-ft might well get what I'll call 8-10-mpg on E350 chassis. I know an Alaskan who drove his to the Carolina coast and back, 9.99999 and he finally called it 10-mpg. Our 31-ft, PI heads, deeper axle ratio, gets 7-8.
