camper there just to many variable to get a single answer. Some will drive 55 to claim 8-10 or better, some will drive 65 and claim 8-9 or better. It will also depend on where you are driving and if you are towing anything.
We bought a 2012 28 ft Winnebago aspect a B+ about 18 months ago. I got it for the better aero aspects on the road vs the big overhang sail. Empty without a tuner (1st bought it) we got almost 8 but it was all mountains (prescott az to Lakeside to Pheonix to tucson) We were trying it out for 1st time after we bought it. Had it on some good hills so took a lot to move it up and down.
I purchased a 5Star tuner for it and we then drove last summer almost 5000 miles towing a 2013 Hyundai Elantra (2700 lbs). From tucson to ft hood tx to dallas we got around 8.5. From there we went to ala, to ohio, ill and still got around 8.5. We crossed nebraska to colo at 70 mph and got 9.8 (flat lands!).
We returned home and again were at 8-8.5 across south colo to NM to AZ and down into tucson. Maybe if I drove like a fuddy duddy I could get better I dont know. But the tuner did make it a more civilized vehicle and I do believe that is why the mileage was so consistent. At times the scan gauge dropped to 4 MPG on the readout but its the overall that finally counts. A smaller rig could do better but just the same it could do worse depending on how its driven. The wife detests slo motion so the 65-70 mph drives vs anything else.
