However, it is getting more obsolete. As iphones and androids are becoming more advance, and 3g/4g keeps one online, you basically have the best GPS systems through a phone.
I do use S@T for my route planning and it's very good for that. I actually lay out our projected 5 month trip before we leave and update it as out plans change. However not at all interested in using it as a nav device. Each evening I enter the next days travel into the GPS.
Using a phone is out of the question, much too small of a screen and difficult for me to use. Just prefer a dedicated GPS unit.
