Our Newmar once again turned in a flawless trip. We were planing to do the Million dollar highway, but we were told there was a lot of snow up there, So we left the coach in Durango and drove the jeep to Silverton, The road (550) was dry but the snow at 10,900 feet was taller than the jeep. Silverton was all but closed, due to 4' of snow. So when we left Durango is was by 160 thru Cortez, that's a beautiful ride too. we spent the night at Price Ut. We did Salt lake City in 2009 and it was a zoo on I-15 with construction most all the way, but this year the construction is 99% complete, and sunday morning traffic was moving at 65-70 mph. That allowed us to make Price to Twinfalls in a day. That was our shortest day millage wise.
The red rock country of Utah is a must do at least once.
