8.3 cummins computer link/plug location
We're looking for the plug for the engine on our 2000 3970 escaper Also a photo of what it looks like would be a great help thanks

Roman Duck, I will try to help you out. I own a CAT, and the plug is up under the dash just about over the steering column. It might be in close to the same place on yours. It might be a gray plastic plug a little larger around than a 50 cent piece. It will probably have a screw on cover on it so it doesn't get dirt in it. If you go to RVupgrades.com and in the search box type in VMSpc6 it will show you the plug-ins for both the CAT and Cummins. CAT takes 6 and Cummins takes the nine pin. Good Luck.
