Thanks to Pat and Gary, your input gave me the courage to continue with my search.
In our cord storage compartment there is a disconnect switch to shut power from the chassis to engine. There are several other electronics components in there also. Along side the disconnect switch mounted in rear wall of compartment is my data plug, as mentioned, by Gary about the size of a half dollar with a cover on it. Thanks again
