Here is what the overhead looks like, this is after I removed a huge piece of plastic that was just holding water. It looks rough but the stucture damage seems to be more to the bunk floor, its strong but warped. Believe it or not the overhead walls are in really good shape, they are still stiff and sturdy even the front wall all things concidering looks to still have some good clean wood in it. When I was talking with the previous owner he said there was very little water showing anywhere in this MH up intell this happened. Good thing he stayed on top of it, huh?
There is a window shattered and the frame is slightly bent, I know I can get a piece of tempered glass made for this for about 150ish dollars and repairing the frame is no problem but was thinking doing away with this window if I can find some siding to make it look like there was never one here, its smooth fiberglass unlike the rest of the sidding that has ribs. I have plans to roll back the roof maybe I can just get a roll of aluminum and start under the bunk and roll all the way to the back, we will see if my wallet can support that. I will also keep an eye out for a whole window assy close to what I have and just frame a replacement one in but I know one less window = one less chance for water leakage.
