I should also note on regards to the heat shielding, this motorhome does not have the van floor under it like a lot of class C's do, so there is none of the factory heat shielding that would have been there. I would think that if somebody wanted to really push the fire saftey hazard here they could fight with Shasta about it, or maybe there was a recall at one point. this couldn't have been the only one they built like this. I urge you to take a look at yours of any make for proper heat shielding above exhaust no matter what the make or build it is!
