Are you sure you have the air conditioning on? Once or twice we set ours to circulate the air by mistake - it sounds like the A/C is on, but it isn't really on - just the fans pushing air around. And if you have it on an "auto" setting, change it to cold. Auto never seems to work as well on ours as using the cold setting. While you shouldn't need to, pull the slides, or at least one of them, in the front room area in until you figure out the problem.
