After you do the simple things like cleaning the battery connections and grounds. If that does not fix the problem, I would then check your alternator output on the large red wire on the alternator. Is it putting out 14+ volts? Then check the chassis is 13+ volts getting to the chassis battery? You probably have 2 mechanical solenoids on the firewall somewhere. I would check the large posts to see it 12+ volts can be read without pushing the aux start button. If you have no power on the dash board after cleaning the connections, and your alternators is good I would suspect the one of the solenoids.
