30 amp plug doesn't run ac but gen.does any good ideas?

If you have two ac units, only one will run off the 30 amp shorepower. The other is not connected.to shore power, t is connect directly to genset.
Only possibility other then that is a cycler unit that allows one ac to run then the other. It could be an Intellitec unit.
