Winnie used a battery switch on those that latched in one direction and is momentary in the other, this uses a single solenoid to provide both emergency start and charging. This switch must be in the latched position to charge.
On the center area of the instrument cluster of the dash or on the center cluster where AC/Radio controls are, there is a Button that says MOM/AUX. It is a 3 position switch. Center is neutral. Pushing the MOM is spring loaded and when released goes back to Neutral center position. THAT is you emergency start. Pushing it to AUX will stay in the AUX position. THAT engages the solenoid to charge both battery banks. It is only active when the Ignition key is ON. So, most RV'ers leave it in the AUX position all the time. Doug
