98. Suncruiser f53 Ford chassis doesn't start.

98 suncruiser f53 ford chassis 460 engine. Turn ignition key to start will not start. Replaced the starter and new battery. Still doesn't start. Just makes a clicking sound under the hood or dash...

To amplify, that solenoid is an easy fix (two wires, two retention bolts).
For safety, I'd check the physical connections (battery wires especially) and ensure no grounds to the starter. Rodents love to chew on wire insulation, bless their buggered souls.
