I'm guessing the 3.9 amps max is with the ice maker running and the compressor starting.
Sound good to me and in fact excellent. Right now our original side by side Dometic is still going strong, but there's no way, I would want to replace this very expensive unit if and when it's needed.
So, how about your battery bank and what does it consist of?
