A Dirty Question

My husband and I are long time RVer's, having owned three different 5th wheel trailers over the last 15 years. We recently sold our truck and 5er as a combo deal and bought a 2004 Country Coach Inspire with only 17,000 miles. It's in excellant condition!

All of our 5ers have come with a separate, outside storage area, specifically for our sewer hose. Our MH has no such storage. Where do you store your sewer hose when not in use and traveling?

Thx

  • As noted above, look around the dump handles and outside shower...that's where mine is.

I have a Holiday Rambler that cost new $200Gs, we have to keep our hose in a 5 gal. bucket.
The factory made no provision for storage.

  • Cruzette,
Not to doubt you here but, motor homes for the last few decades have had storage for their sewage equipment. Many times, it's in the same compartment as the dump valves etc. Are you sure, you can't put it in there? What I mean is, it's really tough for me to believe that such a high ranking coach manufacturer would not supply ample space for such a needed, IMPORTANT item. I'd sure look around before I'd start "adding" anything to accommodate that hose.

  • I attached a length of 4" PVC pipe to the bottom of the front slide. I store our sewer hoses there.
