A water leak

Question

I have a 1996 Monaco Dynasty and we have had strong winds and torrential rain iver the last few days.  When I was in the coach today I noticed water on the floor near the fridge.  I then investigated and found water in the ceiling in front of the fridge.  I have taped the area above the fridge on top of the coach but am not 100% where the leak is.  Can anyone help me on how to find the leak?  Is it safe for the coach for me to go on the roof?

There is a Vent on the roof for the fridge (above the fridge). You should start by checking the caulk there as well as the plastic cover for any cracks.

You should always be very careful when walking on the roof of your coach. If you find any 'soft' spots then there may have been a leak for some time. If you are uncomfortable with going up on the roof, you should consider taking the coach to an RV service center and have them inspect and do the work.

You can do a DIY Pressure Test or, take it to a RV repair shop and have them do the test.
