About the leisure van Murphy bed

For anyone who knows about the Leisure Travel van with the Murphy bed ...... Can the bed be opened when the slide is not out?
  • And he finally got an answer to the question!! :C

By RVIA definitions (as followed by RVNet), the Unity (Serenity and Libero) are all Class C because they are built on a cutaway chassis. LTV had always correctly referred to them as such until they were purchased by Triple E. Then Triple E, who had been a builder of more traditional looking Class C units with the over-cab beds, made the marketing decision to use the salesman terminology of "Class B+" even though none of these units are Class B's.

I always give them a hard time about the use of this marketing term whenever I encounter anyone from the factory at a rally. :B
  • No, there is not enough room to completely lower the murphy bed with the slide out retracted.

Please read LTV's description of this RV linked above.
  • Is this the one, I think it's the only one with the Murphy Bed.

    LTV Unity

There is an LTV Class B that has a slide, but with a fold out couch

  • This is the second time I have cleaned up this thread.
Thread is where it has always been.
OP posted a question about the Murphy Bed. Please stay on topic.
  • Looking at the videos. It does not look like it will open fully unless slide is out.
