Repost later when the problem comes back. Running the FAN only just means you did NOT have any cooling and the evap defrosted and any water went away. You have NOT fixed your problem, so please come back when it returns. Do you have a wall tstat for your AC controls? Doug

As I said earlier...clean the filters. One thing I forgot to mention, is run your A/C on FAN ONLY for about 20-30 minutes. That will clear out any ice that's built up on the fins. You don't have a good enough air flow, cuz your filters are dirty....Dennis

Think I answered this elsewhere.. Two causes come to mind

#1 on the easy to fix list is the intake air filters it's dripping down through.

CLEAN THEM.. Even if they do not need it, might as well start here.

NOTE, be ready cause if this is the problem when you turn off the A/C or pull a filter it's going to make like Niagra Falls under that thing.

Second (this one is harder) go top side, and remove the top cover, you will most likely need a #2 Phillips.. INSPECT the drip tray and find the drip-lip, the "Spout" were water is SUPPOSED to run off on the roof

On my Carrier Air V's it's on the rear.. If I do not level properly and I'm a bit "Nose Down" the water can drip off the FRONT (inside the RV)

On my Advent Air it's one one side, if I'm tipped to the other side, again water drips off the wrong part (or if I'm nose down)

But #1 is clean the filters.

Sorry, I didn't even think about you might have a leak inside. Check for a stopped up condensate drain like someone else said, and also the gasket may be deteriorated. Depending on how much it's leaking, it might just be the humidity in the air causing it to build condensation on the A/C unit where the cold air comes out and it's just dripping. Might not be anything you can do about it.

That condensation has to go somewhere. It should collect in drip tray under evap coil and then drain out thru drain holes in each end of drip tray...either out and down roof or thru drain tubes to under rig.

Dirty air filter, dirty evap coil, plugged drip tray drain holes/hoses or over-compressed roof gasket will cause condensation/draining issues....then condensate gets picked up by fan blower and blown inside.

Remove return air filter....inspect using flashlight-----evap coil, roof gasket, drip tray (feel with your hand how much water in tray.....should just be wet and not holding water)

Thank you for such prompt responses. It is dripping INSIDE and only with the back unit, could it be we need to relevel the RV because of the rain softening the ground (we've been parked here 4 months), the back has sunk down more?

If the 'water' or condensation is dripping INSIDE the coach, it's usually because of a dirty air filter. What happens is the air cannot flow easily, thereby causing the A/C to freeze up. When the ice forms on the A/C fins, the unit struggles, the ice begins to melt and it flows inside your coach. Replace and/or clean all the filters and see if that helps.

If it's leaking OUTSIDE the coach, it's simply because of the increased humidity. All three of my units have a catch basin under them with hoses that run down and out the bottom of the coach. When we are parked on a concrete pad, I made some extra drains out of PVC to pull the water off the pad. You might get up on the roof and see what you have. If there's debris in the catch basin it will not allow the water to drain off correctly. As the water builds up, it releases and appears to be more than usual. Think flash flooding...only on a very tiny scale....Dennis

I would guess (without being there to inspect and look it over) it was a defective gasket that is all the way around the unit, that seals the roof between the inside and the outside. Is there a wire that is under that seal? Sometimes some people will run a solar panel charge wire under there, but I can't see, obviously. Check that...

If not that seal, it could very well be freezing over. If that's it, it could quit working well, or just freeze enough to start dripping. I"ve seen both. Hard to diagnose without being there.

There's natural condensation from an A/C unit anyway, and I would suspect that if the unit is cooling properly inside, it's probably just doing its job. One way an A/C does its job is to dehumidify the air inside. In this extra humid atmosphere here in the south (and you're further south than I am) both of my A/C units run lots of condensation off the roof and they are working just fine.
