The leaking around the ducts is what I found on my AC/heat pump as well. I sealed the ducts with the aluminum duct tape and then coated the duct tape with the white latex duct seal which is thick but can be brushed on. Once this duct seal dried, there was no chance that the tape could come loose and it has stayed sealed for four years of bouncing down the road. It is nice to have all of the conditioned air coming inside, instead of in to the roof structure or outside.
