$8K on a $600/700K+ coach??? That's nothing! I would most definitely have gotten it. It should not beep unless there is a potential collision. Otherwise it makes driving in the slow lane tolerable for me. Just have to keep an eye on speed since it will follow, but when the vehicle you're following slows down you may want to pass.

Unfortunately, it does beep all the time in heavy traffic and especially when changing lanes. I tried one on a test drive and couldn't stand the constant beeping. I imagine that I'd eventually get used to it or anticipate when it would beep. The dealer tells me that customers are 50/50 split on this. They either love it or hate it.
