This is a good tip. Is there anyway to adjust the tension on the hinges, so that it keeps the doors in an up position? On my RT, they don't stay up.
You could add an arm to the inside side of the cabinet and the door. This would be just like the arm used outside to keep the external compartment doors up. You will find these in any home store in the cabinet hardware section and will come in brass in different sizes. Then when you open the door, lock the arm to keep the cabinet door up.
We have not had that problem in our our RT and the hinges hold them up, but there is no adjustment on my hinge to tighten it. There may be a second adjustment for this on the hinges RT is using in the link.
I have bought some of those & was it going to be a winter project to install. From just placing them in position, however, i can see a potential issue, in that the "slotted track" behind takes up space in the inside of the closet when closed & this could either interfere with things in there, or could jam up. Won't know until i install them though. Thanks for the reply, Gary - 1775Explorer

- 1775ExplorerThis does not work on all Roadtreks. My 2011 does not have the same hinges. I have no adjusting screw on a similar style hinge. I am not sure what years or models these hinges are being used on.
