On the last trip, I had the coax connections screwed up initially, so the receiver could not "see" the antenna. Connecting the wires correctly made everything work great, as it should. :R
Be sure the coax from the Dome is attached to Sat IN on your receiver or that your Video Switcher box is wired correctly.
Never switched the cables. It sees the dome, let's me know it's finding Sat, it just never locks on. After a while it just goes to sleep.
