In a nut shell it is not a warranty it is a service contract.
If a covered part damages a non covered part the non covered part is not covered and if a non covered part damages a covered part neither part is covered” Sounds like a Chicken Ad doesn’t it. Well I discover the fan is covered and that is $225.00 and in order to replace the fan you have to remove the radiator, the Charge Air Cooler, and other stuff for access. Radiator is not covered but the cooling system is so go figure. So they finally agree to cover 8 hours of labor at $100.00/hour.

Hello,
I've been reading the forum for about a year now and have just pruchased my first Diesel motorhome this week.
Based upon what I have read in the past, I was all set on getting my extended warranty from WholesaleWarranties.com and getting the Xtra Ride policy from Protective. I thought by doing my homework, once I got the RV this would be a done deal.
Now I find out that Protective dropped Wholesale Warranties, SO, my question is this: If they are both such great companies - why did they part ways? And more importantly, should I stay with Wholesale or should I stay with Xtra Ride? It seems like Xtra Ride is who I am actually doing business with (wholesale is just a middleman here) so that is probably the right choice.
I would appreciate any input from fellow motorhome owners - preferably those that have experienced Diesel repairs with you warranty company.
Thanks!
Shaun
