For me No! For all the people that I have met, most with warranties outside of the OEM probably never needed it. I do know of 2 cases it paid well for them. However, I've heard many that did not get whet they bargained for. For me, I've not gone for any extended coverage, including Best Buy stuff. I'm way ahead. If it breaks now, I'm still happy.:@
