What year, engine, mfg of motorhome did you buy? Diesels are known to go on and on..... We've been full-timing for 17 years and meet a lot of folks throughout the country. We've never heard of anyone blowing their engine if that's what you're afraid of, so obviously it doesn't happen very often. Personally, just put that money aside and save it for any repairs, IF needed. Keep up with your maintenance and give it TLC and you will have a good one! Happy RVing!
