I also purchased the XtraRide policy since I didn't have a lot of history on my Panther. I have four years of coverage and if nothing happens in those four years then I had four years of peace of mind knowing that in the event of a failure it would be covered. That is worth the money I paid. I am not in a position to afford a major repair such as an engine overhaul or transmission failure out of pocket. I can and do maintain my Motorhome as I believe that preventative maintenance is less costly than repairs but having been I the car repair business all my life I know that stuff happens and parts break.
