If it were me, and my money, and if I were buying a used coach, I would buy an extended warranty from Good Sams AFTER I read, and understood, ALL of the exclusions. I suggest Good Sams only because they will probably be around in a few years, where other companies fall by the wayside on a regular basis. Keep in mind that the age of the coach has a lot to do with what is covered. Some policies exclude gaskets and seals after 5 years or so.
In any case, having an EW through a company like Good Sams, that will be around, and will respond to your calls, might give you peace of mind for the first year or so of ownership. After the first year or so, if the coach has been reliable, I would drop the extended warranty only because it does not make financial sense IF, and this is a huge IF, you have your own funds to handle a catastrophic failure. If you do not have those emergency funds, and you are full timing, it might be wise to have some type of back-up.
