Unfortunately, that's not too unusual for a class C of this size. Some have a higher CCC, some have a lower one.
You can, of course, always play around a little with what you bring to help keep the weight within the limits. You may not need to travel with full water, for example. Also note that the CCC does assume a certain weight has been used for passengers; in this particular example, two 154 pound people. You don't have do deduct those two people twice from the overall weight ratings.
There are indeed a good many motorhomes on the road that are overloaded as per the chassis specifications.
