I think break-ins are rare in campgrounds, especially west of the Mississippi.
Stuff left outside is more often taken if it is handy to grab.
Don't leave your rig in an area than looks or feels dangerous. Don't camp there at all if you can avoid it.
If you have anything that would break your heart to lose, don't take it with you camping or else carry it with you wherever you go.
