We are making a similar decision. I am about 2 years away from retirement and am hoping to spend over half the year on the road.....Half-timing if you will....I want a slightly larger coach and a diesel for the reliability, comfort and towing power.
That said, I suspect making the jump is similar to switching from a PC to a Mac. Both have the same basics of operation and both have advantages and disadvantages......BUT..... the learning curve will be short and the standard operations are so close, you'll pick it up in no time. Let us know what you decide on!!
