Our Bluebird is 26 years old. Not had a problem yet. Anyplace that has a problem, probably costs too much for us to even be asking in the first place!

The 10 year rule is similar to signs in stores that say "no shirt, no shoes, no service!"

Businesses have wide latitude in deciding whom to provide services to and whom they choose to not service. Only when it crosses into discrimination of a protected class would it become a legal issue. And I am about 99.999 percent sure old RVs aren't a protected class. I am comfortable turning away rolling meth labs even though we have no written verbiage specifically prohibiting them.

I agree to a point. Having the "unless approved by management" doesn't make a lawsuit any less likely. Likewise, having a rule that states "no RV over 10 years of age" doesn't make a lawsuit any less likely. Having no stated rule doesn't make a lawsuit any less likely either. The chance on a lawsuit is going to be based on two basic things:

1. Are you discriminating against a protected class(es)?
and
2. Is the person to whom you just refused entry a person who is willing/able/likely to sue? (regardless of whether there is a legitimate case or not.)

If either of the answers is Yes, you might get sued. If both are Yes, then you will likely get sued. If both are No, then you're pretty safe.

Our coach is a 2006, which makes it 10 years old. Just got back from a trip and had no problem at about 9 different RV parks. There we quite a few that looked to be much older.

Not talking about just the age. If you read everything I wrote here you'll understand. The parks that have these rules don't write them just because they want to turn away paying customers. The write them so they can work to keep out trouble makers and criminals. Read everything I wrote and if it still doesn't make sense, I can't help you.
