Air Brake Calipers....YIKES !!! (UPDATE)

Thanks for all the posts...this was not intended as a gas vs diesel, Ford vs Chevy kind of thing. Once I got over the initial sticker shock, I did do my due diligence trying to find a QUALITY part for less money. After calling several machine shops and getting the same answer, that they cannot be rebuilt, I gave up that route. As stated previously, I did find a pair of "rebuilt" ones but from what I could tell they were "rebuilt in China", not something I'd feel comfortable putting on my coach, so I passed on those. I found a new one in Nevada and another in Indiana, so they're shipping them to Az. (FREE SHIPPING..:W)

On a good note, it appears National Interstate is stepping up and will cover at least a portion of the repairs. I'll post the final resolution once everything shakes out.....Dennis
