Air dryer filter change out
I have a 2012 tag axle Freightliner. Just got finshed changing all my oil and fuel filters on the engine and jenny. Saw the air dryer filter housing on top of the rear axle. Thinking about changing it...

On my Freightliner chassis I change mine every 3 years. A long as I do that I never have had the system freeze as I do travel in very cold weather sometimes. I am fortunate to have a drive over pit and it requires loosing the bracket to tilt the filter for removal. It's not a bad job but I always coated the fasteners with never seize so they they don't corrode, and are easy to remove in 3 years:)
