I have to laugh at those that carry the equivalent of a second kitchen sink, 40,000 miles in the last 4 years and not needed air yet.
However "Roadside" assistance means on the side of the road.. Generally a low tire in a campground does not qualify.. Plus if you drive on it low, you damage it..
I have added air many times, routinely do it about 2x a year since one thing I know about tires is they DO loose pressure, yes perfectly mounted perfectly good tires DO loose pressure.. I even known why.
Second. My car has a slow leak just now in one tire.. I may address it Tuesday (Monday I plan not to drive it) but .. Well, Sitting next to my Right Front RV tire is 150 PSI of Crafstman compressed air... OF course this same compressor has done the following.
Lifted the motor home when a tire got slashed so the man could change it.
Assisted in leveling (my hydraulics do not work properly but the 12 ton Jack Jack works great)
Lifted other motor homes for tire replacement
Lifted a trailer for spring replacement
REmoved bolts on my car for motor mount replacement
Sliced a bent to blazes metal bracket so I could completly remove and replace it.
Sprayed paint.
And several other tasks which required compressed air.
