Air pressure control valves for air bag suspension?

Today at the Quartzsite RV show I was talking with a rep from Hendersons Line-up out of Oregon. I was considering a heavier sway bar for the front of the motorhome.

I told him that I didn't like the way our coach rocked back and forth when going out of driveways and other uneven surfaces. He showed me some kind of flow valve that is spliced into the existing air line to each bag. Apparently this valve(about 2" long)slows down the rate of air flow when the bag compresses in a turn or when the coach leans on an uneven surface. Also, it slows down the air flow coming back into the bag as is returns to its normal height. He said that it is quite effective at stopping the rocking back and forth motion.

I have never heard of them and am wondering if anyone here is familiar with them or has used them. If so, do they accomplish what the rep says they do? BTW, they were $795 installed.

Thanks for any input in advance.

  • Had them put in at an FMCA Rally years ago with good results. A couple of years of later we went to their shop in Grants Pass and had an assessment/test drive done and a list of suggestions in order of best result for least dollar. Do as much as you want. We went with their recommendations, which included NOT doing certain things until we had driven a bit to see if we wanted to spent that extra money! Only have good things to say about Henderson's Line Up
  • Well, I don't know about the valve that Henderson's have but I have those installed by Source Engineering and I can tell you that those valves do make a difference.

They do make a difference in the suspension so you have to make a decision
