Actually, it makes more sense to me the way Monaco stated in our manual on the Dynasty. Move slides in or out at ride height.
If you think about it, if you have to lift one corner excessively, you are putting a strain on the chassis. The 'square box' could be slightly stressed for the slide to move in or out.
Our current coach requires that the coach be at ride height while the slides are moving in or out. Then, we can level on the air bags.
