i agree that there is a world of difference between air bags and a full on air ride suspension that you see on most diesel pushers. I have air bags with an air pump mounted in the cab for adjustablility and it helps when carrying a heavier load but does not make the ride significantly smoother. I was looking into this same subject myself but it sounds like the only way to get a full on air ride suspension is to move up to a diesel pusher. I even asked my friend who owns his own shop to work on semis and other large trucks and he does work on motorhomes but had not ever heard of a full air ride suspension on a gas class A. Part of the improvement in ride is also the change in chassis. But a suspension on a class A with firestone air bags will still be leaf spring based, whereas the air ride suspensions on the diesel pushers are not leaf spring but full air ride suspensions. My class C does have the bilsteins shocks anti sway bar, steering stabilizer, and firestone air bags in rear as well as timbrens in the front, and although I saw a significant improvement, it is not what a true air ride suspension would be. Someone also suggested contacting Champion Frame in Chicago who does motorhome suspension work. If anyone would know about a full air ride suspension on a gas class A, they should. I asked my dealer as welll and they had never heard of a gas class A with a full air suspension or any aftermarket conversion. You can get a full air ride suspension on the rear of a class C but not the front.
