The storage compartment in the back is 14" tall, 34" deep, and 38" wide so it will hold a tire. However, it is finished way too nice, carpeted throughout, to throw a tire in there. Also, the compartment is fully accessible from inside the coach with full length cabinet doors, making it a great area to store things that need to stay out of the weather but need to be accessible from inside or outside.
