The Airstream has only 41k looks new.

Read my OP (original post) I added a comment on tires.
  • Twelve feet of MH difference in length is a bunch. Will you be mostly stationary or driving often?
  • Condition is the major factor when buying a used RV. Which one is in the best condition? How well were they maintained, are any service records available?

Winnebago generally has a good reputation for quality, but so did the Airstream motorhomes as far as I know.
You're comparing a diesel pusher to a gas unit, that will get you different responses.
Which floor plan works best for you.

Water leaks will do major damage if not repaired quickly. Can you check for evidence of leaks?
There is a lot to consider when comparing these two RV's.

    TIRES:
Another thing to consider is the tires. Most RV tires age out before they wear out and most are replaced between 6-9 years.
Check the size of the tires snd compare prices. Check the date code on the tires currently on the units you are considering. They may need to be replaced. Don't just go by tread depth.
Factor the price of tires into the selling price of the RV..
  • The Airstream I’m considering is 2004 39 ft
The Winnebago is 2014 27 feet
  • How old are the units? I had a 1994 gasser 33’ Airstream Landyacht in early 2000’s and was disappointed but much of that might have been due to previous owner neglect.
